Adeyl bhai’s departure

Yesterday, 22 December, Adeyl bhai left us from Fargo. After visiting several states in USA he will finally settle down at Maulin.

Adeyl bhai came at Fargo three years back. He has unofficially completed his Masters  degree in IME and completed his MBA also. He was working in research project of CNSE which is one of the most prestigious research park of NDSU.

The Bangladeshi community will remember Adeyl bhai for his great contribution in different community events. In every single event he was the heart of all activities. He served in many different position of BSO along with President and CSO representative. It will take long to fill the vacuum created due to his departure.

We wish Adeyl bhai has a great and bright future.

We are having a party at the end of the holy blessed month Ramadan to celebrate the Eid. Eid AnondoMela will be held coming Saturday (10/13/2007). The hugging will start at 7:00 pm! Greetings. We Bangladeshis at Fargo-Moorhead-Bismark-Valley City-James Town-Grand Forks-Pambena-Minneapolis, Winnipeg-Sioux Falls area are having a ‘Bon Vojon‘ on the 28th July (Saturday). We will be enjoying music, breakfast, games, soccer, lunch (Yellowrice & Meat), Cultural Performance (Some More Music), Tea & Donut. You will have a chance to meet and greet people the Bangladeshi people from around ND-MN-SD (Once Again). We really want you to join the party. Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, Honorable Members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,

Grameen Bank and I are deeply honoured to receive this most prestigious of awards. We are thrilled and overwhelmed by this honour. Since the Nobel Peace Prize was announced, I have received endless messages from around the world, but what moves me most are the calls I get almost daily, from the borrowers of Grameen Bank in remote Bangladeshi villages, who just want to say how proud they are to have received this recognition.
